Turning an NBA court into a Masterpiece.

In 1977, famed pop artist Robert Indiana used a basketball floor as the canvas for the World's Largest Pop Art Painting. Unifying seemingly opposite mediums of sport and art, Indiana created a symbol that transcends time.

Amid skepticism and controversy, the MECCA Floor catapulted Milwaukee as a forward thinking, art conscious city. Ushering in a golden age of basketball for the Milwaukee Bucks, and Marquette Warriors, at the same time.
